Your visit to Living Waters Resort at the Source of the Nile is not complete without stepping into one of our traditional fishing boat styled barges. The boat tour takes you along the banks of the river with much opportunity to see the local bird species plus the occasional giant monitor lizard. Vervet monkeys are in plenty, a local favourite with tourists. The boat tour culminates at Point Zero, where the Nile starts its journey, slowly peeling away from Lake Victoria.
Ask about the extended tour which takes you across the bay to Budongo Fish Farm, to Jinja Port, the oldest Port on the Lake and Jinja Sailing Club.
